The airline is adding a fourth aircraft.
Low-cost airline Ryanair has announced a further expansion at Bratislava Airport, adding a fourth aircraft to its local base and increasing the number of routes from the capital later this year.
Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, Ryanair chief executive Michael O’Leary said the airline would station an additional aircraft in Bratislava this autumn as part of its winter schedule expansion.
The move will increase the number of routes operated from the city to 23, two more than during the previous winter season. Ryanair said it expects to carry more than two million passengers a year through its Bratislava base.
Ryanair will operate 23 direct routes from Bratislava during the 2026–27 winter schedule, serving destinations across Europe and the Mediterranean.
