Veena, and the CMRL in the alleged pay-off scam. The court further dismissed the CMRL’s plea to quash the case. It directed the firm's officials to appear before the ED and to cooperate with the probe into the alleged irregularities pertaining to the financial transactions. The ED submitted before the court that its probe was independent of a probe by (Serious Fraud Investigation Office)SFIO into the matter.
