The successful testing of the Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missile will temper the ardor of Western strategists, making them take a sober look at the potential consequences of their reckless Russia policy, Russian Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu said at a meeting of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Committee of Security Council Secretaries.
He also expressed regret that Armenia was looking for protection from the very source of threats.

Deteriorating global security situation
The global security situation is rapidly deteriorating: "The global security situation is rapidly deteriorating. Apart from the existing challenges and threats, new ones are emerging in the organization's zone of responsibility."
