Hundreds of participants from 120 countries will spend four days discussing various aspects of security, the protection of traditional values, and countering neo-colonialism and neo-Nazism.

CSTO meeting

Secretary of the Russian Security Council Sergey Shoigu will begin the work program with a meeting of the Committee of Secretaries of the Security Councils of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), which will bring together his colleagues from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. They plan to review the "military-political situation in the CSTO collective security regions and the organization’s activities during the intersessional period." "Given the Russian Federation’s CSTO presidency from January 1, 2026, partners will be updated on the progress of Russia’s priority activities in the organization in 2026, in accordance with the plan approved by Vladimir Putin, Chairman of the Collective Security Council," the press service of the Russian Security Council reported.
