This series adaptation of "Cape Fear" takes the 1991 classic by Martin Scorsese and drags it into doomscroll era with gaslightin, AI fakes and public shaming. Javier Bardem inherits the Robert De Niro role as Max Cady, a newly freed ex-con who decides the married lawyers who put him away owe him far more than an apology.
