Israir launched a 10-day sale on discounted flights and vacation packages, while Greek airline Sky Express announced steep discounts across its route networkThe summer sales season in the aviation industry is heating up: Israir launched a new sale Monday that will run for 10 days, offering flights to various destinations in Europe and the Mediterranean starting at $99 one-way, as well as vacation packages starting at $359 per person. The sale applies to bookings made from Monday and for the following 10 days, for selected departures in June.The lowest fares in the sale are for Larnaca, Paphos, Athens and Thessaloniki, where one-way tickets start at $99. Tickets to Baku, Salzburg and Ljubljana are available from $180 one-way.The sale fares do not include additional baggage services. According to Israir’s updated price list, a trolley bag costs $30 each way when purchased in advance, or $40 at Ben Gurion Airport, while a first suitcase weighing up to 23 kilograms, or 50 pounds, costs $65 each way when purchased in advance or $100 if purchased at the airport.As part of the sale, the company is also offering vacation packages to several destinations. In Paphos, an all-inclusive package at the Heleni Holidays Village hotel starts at $499 per person.In Tbilisi, a package at the five-star Biltmore hotel starts at $520 per person. In Rhodes, an ultra-all-inclusive package at the five-star Kresten Royal hotel starts at $569. In Budapest, three nights at the four-star Hilton Garden Inn start at $599, while in Montenegro, three nights at the four-star Slovenska Plaza hotel, including half board, start at $609 per person.Alongside the sale, the company is offering a “cancellation protection” option for $40 per person. According to Israir, the service allows travelers to cancel flights up to three days before departure and vacation packages up to seven days before the flight, subject to the program’s terms and the company’s regulations.Greek airline Sky Express also announced discounts of up to 60% on a range of flights across its route network. The sale is valid for bookings made through June 2 for flights departing between August 15, 2026 and March 20, 2027.The airline operates direct flights between Tel Aviv and Athens and offers connecting flights to dozens of destinations in Greece and additional destinations in Europe. According to the company, the discounts will also apply to some connecting flights and to business class.Meanwhile, Air Haifa on Monday launched its new direct route from Haifa Airport to Mykonos. Air Haifa said it is also expected to launch a direct route to Karpathos in the coming days.The company is continuing to offer its cancellation policy, which allows passengers to cancel a flight up to 24 hours before departure and receive full credit for future use, valid for two years.
