Amsons Group (Tanzania) is in advanced negotiations to acquire Oryx Energies' fuels, lubricants and TIPER stake in a $250M deal being finalized in Geneva. The transaction would make Amsons the largest independent energy distributor in East Africa, entering a market where LPG consumption grew 38% YoY and the government targets 80% clean-cooking adoption by 2034.
