MOSCOW, May 25. /TASS/. The rates of gas injection into underground gas storages in Germany and France are at their lowest since 2013 after the summer season start, Gazprom said.
"The average filling rates of underground gas storages in Germany and France from the injection season start to May 22 are the smallest since 2013. It follows from data of Gas Infrastructure Europe. Rehden, the largest UGS in Germany, is just 4.2% filled, which is one of the lowest levels for May 22 throughout the history of observations," the Russian gas holding said.
Filling of underground storages in the Netherlands remains historically low since the very start of the injection season, the company noted. Norg and Grijpskerk UGS, which account for more than a half of the capacity of all storage facilities in the country, became completely empty last winter. Injection into Grijpskerk has not started yet.
