The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has accused President Bola Tinubu’s administration over worsening economic hardship, insecurity and poverty, saying Nigerians were facing one of the country’s most difficult periods in recent history.
In a statement, the opposition party accused the Nigerian government of failing to address inflation, food insecurity and growing economic pressure on citizens across the country.
The party also faulted remarks credited to President Tinubu about the opposition, insisting that Nigerians were more concerned about hardship and insecurity than political rhetoric.
Expressing disappointment over the president’s comments, the ADC said the administration had presided over severe economic difficulties since assuming office.
