In March, my colleague Fernando Silva opened my eyes to the world of rear touchscreen iPhone cases. The purpose? Mostly using the highest-quality camera on your iPhone to take selfies. Fair enough.
What I didn’t realize is that this is apparently becoming a trend now. The Selfix iPhone case as a one-off accessory is one thing, but Insta360 is a brand with weight behind it. Apple sells Insta360 action cameras and gimbals, for example.
That makes me look at the Insta360 Snap Selfie Screen a little more closely than I might otherwise. Also, it’s a standalone accessory and not a case.
