Entrepreneur Ankur Warikoo was once earning just over Rs 14, 750 per month. Taking to Instagram, the entrepreneur and motivational speaker revealed how he went from earning little over Rs 14K to Rs 33 lakh annually in just five years. In a video shared on Instagram, Ankur Warikoo opened up about the difficult phase that shaped the beginning of his professional journey. He spoke about leaving his studies unfinished in the United States, returning to India uncertain about his future, and taking the bold step of opting for an education loan despite the financial risks involved. Determined to rebuild his path, he later pursued management studies at Indian School of Business, where he eventually secured one of the most sought-after consulting placements on campus.In the clip, he admitted that joining a team of MBA graduates made him feel underqualified and he decided to pursue a one-year MBA from Indian School Of Business. However, that MBA did not come cheap. He revealed he took “the biggest loan in the Warikoo family,” with a monthly EMI of Rs 20,000. He then went on to reveal how he got to learn from some of the “most distinguished” people while he was enrolled in the course, and decided to pursue consulting as a career. He also landed one of best jobs on the campus. Warikoo said his salary rose to ₹12 lakh annually, and after a promotion within 1.5 years, he was earning ₹33 lakh a year by the time he resigned 3 years later.He then stated that while he was not the most intelligent person in the room he worked hard to maintain the trust when someone trusted him. He ended the note with a sound piece of advice for young professionals: “Opportunities may come because of others. What you do after that is on you. Never stop working hard,” he said.As per reports, Warikoo’s net worth is Rs 123 crore or $15 million.
