On “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” on Monday, the “Apoy sa Dugo” star reacted to the pair's rumored romance and expressed her admiration for Kathryn. “Syempre si Kathryn kasi, I idolize her as an actress. So parang, oh wow, ang swerte naman ni Mark nakakuha siya ng Kathryn Bernardo,” Ashley said.Ashley also emphasized that she is happy for the two of them.“I’m just happy for them kasi it’s been years na rin and finally, nakahanap na siya ng mabuting decent girl. So I’m happy for the both of them,” she said.Moreover, Ashley told Tito Boy that she and Mark are not friends, noting that they have not seen each other since they separated. “I don’t think we’re friends anymore kasi ever since nung nag-break kami, we never saw each other na eh,” she said.The actress added that she thinks they did not have a bad breakup.“It was mutual and ayun lang talaga, we just never bump into each other,” she shared. “Siguro if dumating ‘yung time na we’re gonna bump into each other, of course I’m gonna say hi."Ashley and Mark were in a relationship until 2022. Ashley said in a 2023 interview on “Updated with Nelson Canlas” that she has moved on from the heartbreak.She is currently in a relationship with fellow Kapuso artist Mavy Legaspi.Meanwhile, Kathryn and Mark started getting linked in late 2025.
