TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia and seven other countries strongly condemned what they described as the “horrific” treatment carried out by Israeli official Itamar Ben-Gvir against participants of a Gaza-bound aid flotilla while they were detained by Israeli forces.
“The Foreign Ministers of Indonesia, Egypt, Jordan, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkiye and United Arab Emirates strongly condemn the appalling, degrading, and unacceptable actions of extremist Israeli Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir against participants in the Gaza-bound flotilla while they were in Israeli detention,” Indonesia’s Foreign Ministry said on X on Monday.
