Stacey Solomon and her partner Joe Swash put on a united front over the weekend as they arranged a lavish party for their son Rex, surrounded by family and friends07:37, 25 May 2026Updated 07:44, 25 May 2026Stacey Solomon and husband Joe Swash were all smiles as they put on a united front following speculation around their relationship.‌The couple threw an incredible pool party for their son Rex at their home in Essex, lovingly dubbed Pickle Cottage, as the youngster celebrated his seventh birthday along with his siblings and school friends.‌The images the TV star shared online of the pool party showed it was everything a child would dream of, complete with pool inflatables shaped like fruits, unicorns, and flamingos.‌A sparkling disco ball backdrop covered in colourful balloons was also part of the pool décor, with Stacey posting snaps of her family standing in front of it, including one sweet upload alongside the birthday boy, her partner Joe and their two youngest children, Rose, 4, and Belle, 3.‌Penning a tribute to her son in the caption of a post on Instagram, Stacey commented: "I cannot believe you're 7, Rex. Where did that time go? 7 wonderful years of you."She added that she loved her son and his pal Mila - who was also celebrating her seventh birthday at the joint party - "to the moon and back".One fan said: "Looks amazing. Family is everything and your relationship with your sister is awesome Love you guys, so real." Another added: "Happy birthday Rex and Mila. Amid reports that their relationship was on the rocks after it emerged that the couple hadn't legally married, she fumed: "I said we were not getting legally married and having a religious blessing and ceremony at home in front of our friends and family – and we’ll get legally married at a later point."The couple tied the knot at their home, Pickle Cottage, and to have had their ceremony legally binding, it would have meant that their home would have had to be "readily available", something they didn't want to do.
