A man is recovering in hospital after being stabbed multiple times in the back at a Northland house party.
Emergency services were called to a property on Townsend Place in Tikipunga at about 1.15am on Sunday following reports of an attack.
Police located the injured man at the scene, where he had been attending a party with approximately 20 other people.
The man was transported to hospital in a stable condition.
Whangārei Police have launched an investigation and are appealing for public assistance to identify those responsible.
