NSW have announced a $1.2m reward for information relating to the unsolved murders of two women in Newcastle in 2000.
NSW Police raised the reward to A$1 million for the 2000 Newcastle double murder of Teterin and Kay, unsolved for 26 years. A 2025 review found new forensic leads, showing cold-case units increasingly leverage updated science to reopen stalled homicide probes.

NSW Police Homicide Squad detectives have announced a A$1 million (NZ$1.22m) reward for information relating to the unsolved murders of two women in Newcastle in 2000.
The bodies of 37-year-old Joanne Teterin and 32-year-old Susan Kay were found by police at a home on Doran Street, Carrington, on Wednesday, 12 May, 2000.
