One of the aspirants in the just-concluded All Progressives Congress governorship primary election in Nasarawa State, Hassan Liman, has cautioned his supporters and those of other aspirants against engaging in any act capable of disrupting the peace.
During the primary election, Liman, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, scored 863 votes; Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada, 195,285 votes; while a former Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, polled 39,675 votes, among others.
Speaking with journalists on Saturday in Lafia, the state capital, the legal luminary noted that by the declaration of the results, Senator Wadada is now the duly elected flag bearer of the APC in the state; hence, it is the duty of all party stakeholders and members to support him for the 2027 general election.
Liman urged those who may not be satisfied with the governorship primaries to follow due process in seeking redress.
Liman urged every member and supporter of the APC to align with Wadada in order to guarantee the party’s victory in 2027.
