Taking a jibe at the Congress government over the Bidadi Township issue, Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel H.D. Kumaraswamy said those who had initially called for a public discussion on the matter were now “too busy” to participate in it.“They (Congress) were the one who invited a discussion on the Bidadi issue, and I had said I was ready. But now they are very busy,” he said.Mr. Kumaraswamy argued that Congress leaders were occupied with “collections” and “fixing rates”, and that governance has taken a backseat. “If they come, let us sit and discuss it before the people,” he said.
