Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday (May 24, 2026) appealed to all State governments to make bus travel free for students on the day of NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) re-examination.“With folded hands, I appeal to all Chief Ministers and governments of every political party across the country to make bus travel free in their respective states on the day of the NEET examination for students appearing in the test,” Mr. Kejriwal said in a video posted on X.He said that a few days ago, the AAP-led government in Punjab announced that bus travel would be free for all students on the day of the NEET examination. “Following our lead, the Chief Ministers of Haryana and Bihar have now also made similar announcements. I request all other Chief Ministers to also make this announcement in their states,” he added.Mr. Kejriwal said that this decision would bring great relief and happiness to students, who have been working extremely hard but were deeply distressed because of the paper leak and cancellation of the examination.
