Ukrainian border guards are currently not recording any movement of military equipment or personnel on the territory of Belarus near the border with Ukraine.
According to Ukrinform, State Border Guard Service spokesperson Andrii Demchenko stated this during a television broadcast.
"If we speak specifically about our border line with Belarus, then... as of this moment, we are not observing any movement of equipment, weapons, or personnel in the immediate vicinity of our border, nor any such buildup," Demchenko said.
At the same time, according to him, intelligence data indicates that Russia is actively pressuring Belarus to become more directly involved in the war against Ukraine using its own forces.
"This, of course, poses a greater risk for our country and creates the possibility of a renewed invasion specifically from the territory of Belarus," the State Border Guard Service spokesperson said.
