MOSCOW, May 24. /TASS/. French opera singer Joachim Coffinier-Barry, who won the eighth Road to Yalta international music contest festival, told TASS in an interview that he wants to remain leaving in Russia and acquire the Russian citizenship.
"Yes, I plan to stay in Russia, to live here, to create a family, to marry a Russian girl and to raise children - a big family, with any luck," he said. "I do love Russia and feel happy here."
The French artist stated that his family members opposed his choice, while his "heart" prompted him to make such a decision.
Wrong Turn
According to the singer, many French people realize that Russia is the "true stronghold of traditional values," but their homeland "took the turn in the wrong direction."
