Telangana Fisheries Corporation Chairman Mettu Sai Kumar on Sunday made a scathing attack on BRS MLA and former Minister T. Harish Rao, accusing the BRS leadership of attempting to obstruct the State government’s proposed ‘Future City’ project. He suggested Mr. Harish Rao desist from making such ‘irresponsible comments’.Addressing a press meet at Gandhi Bhavan, Mr. Sai Kumar asserted that neither Mr. Harish Rao nor the BRS leadership had the ‘capacity or authority’ to stall the project and maintained that ‘Future City’ represents the future aspirations of Telangana’s youth.Drawing a comparison, he said while the earlier phase of Hyderabad’s growth was driven by projects like ‘Cyber City’, the present government was committed to taking forward new initiatives such as ‘Future City’.
