At least four people sustained minor injuries after a speeding car collided head-on with an RTC bus in Chevella on Sunday (May 24) morning.The incident was reported around 9.30 a.m. near Malkapur village in Chevella mandal.According to an officer from the Chevella police station, the hired hatchback was travelling from Chevella towards Hyderabad with two occupants when the driver overtook a bullock cart and, in a rash and negligent manner, drove on the wrong side of the road, colliding into an oncoming RTC bus moving from Hyderabad to Chevella.Following the collision, the driver and a woman occupant of the car fled the spot. The injured bus passengers were shifted to a nearby hospital for first aid and treatment.Around 25 passengers are suspected to have been on board the RTC bus at the time of the accident. All of them are reported to be safe.Police reached the spot and registered a case against the car driver for rash and negligent driving and wrong-side driving.
