But, just eight minutes later, Stockport thought they had made it 1-1.‌Adama Sidibeh ran in behind the back-line and composed himself before hammering the ball into the back of the net, giving 'keeper Corey Addai little chance. However, Bolton were incensed as they felt that Sidibeh tripped defender George Johnston in the build-up.‌VAR, which has been used in all EFL play-off finals since 2022, then advised referee Josh Smith to have a closer look at the incident. In the end, Smith decided to overturn his initial decision and rule the goal out, as he felt that Sidibeh did catch Johnston's ankle as the forward burst through.Announcing the decision to the 50,000 plus supporters inside Wembley Stadium, Smith said: "After review, Stockport #29 commits a careless challenge on Bolton #6, my final decision is no goal."Article continues belowWhile Stockport were no doubt furious with Smith's decision, they didn't let that upset their rhythm and pilled the pressure on Bolton. In the 29th minute, Stockport did eventually level and Sidibeh had his goal, as a cross from the right was met by the Gambian and he powered a header beyond Addai and into the bottom corner. There will be more to follow on this breaking news story and Mirror Sport will bring you the very latest updates, pictures and video as soon as possible. Please check back regularly for updates on this developing story.Follow us on Google News, Flipboard, Apple News, Twitter, Facebook or visit The Mirror homepage.Choose Daily Mirror as a 'Preferred Source' on Google News for quick access to the news you value.‌Wembley StadiumFootball League OneStockport FCBolton Wanderers FC
