Two people were killed and six were wounded as a result of Russian shelling in the Donetsk region over the past 24 hours.

This was reported on Telegram by Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, according to Ukrinform.

“On May 23, the Russians killed two residents of the Donetsk region: in Kramatorsk and Kostiantynivka. Six more people in the region were wounded over the past 24 hours,” he said.

According to Filashkin, two residents of Kramatorsk, three people in Druzhkivka, and one person in Kostyantynivka were wounded.

In total, since the start of the full-scale invasion, 4,077 residents have been killed and 9,481 wounded in the region. The total number of Russian casualties in Donetsk region does not include Mariupol and Volnovakha, the head of the Regional Military Administration noted.
