Since the beginning of the year, Spain’s Pedro Sanchez, Canada’s Mark Carney, the UAE’s Sheikh Khaled bin Mohammed, Germany’s Friedrich Merz and others had visited the Middle Kingdom.
China has always seen herself as the country in the middle (literal translation of the Chinese characters) or more commonly referred to itself as the Middle Kingdom.
