Union Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Pralhad Joshi has said that the Centre is committed to ensuring transparent and corruption-free recruitment processes.He was addressing a gathering of newly recruited candidates after handing over appointment letters to them in the 19th Rozgar Mela organised by Hubballi Division of South Western Railway in Hubballi on Saturday.Mr. Joshi emphasised that every citizen had an important role in building a “Viksit Bharat” and urged the newly appointed candidates to serve the nation with sincerity, integrity and dedication in public service.He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the nationwide “Rozgar Parva” initiative had been launched to create greater employment opportunities across the country. As part of the initiative, appointment letters were being distributed to over 51,000 candidates across the country, he said.Mr. Joshi said that despite challenging global conditions, India had maintained economic stability. Highlighting the achievements of Indian Railways, he said that it had achieved nearly 99% electrification, significantly reducing dependence on conventional fuels. The Minister also highlighted the country’s steady progress in the renewable energy sector.Earlier, the 19th mela was inaugurated across the country by Mr. Modi through videoconferencing.During the mela, appointment letters were distributed to 150 candidates from around seven departments, including Railways, banking, postal department and Assistant Lecturer posts.Senior Railway officials, including General Manager of South Western Railway P.
