According to the Medical and Dental Consultants' Association of Nigeria, its members are currently on a one week warning strike to press home their demands, alleging that the state government has been insensitive to their plights.
The Medical and Dental Consultants' Association of Nigeria, (MDCAN), Delta State University Teaching Hospital (DELSUTH) chapter, has said, it will embark on an indefinite total strike action, should the state government fail to respond to its demands.
According to the Medical and Dental Consultants' Association of Nigeria, its members are currently on a one week warning strike to press home their demands, alleging that the state government has been insensitive to their plights.
In a communique issued Friday at the end of its emergency meeting, signed by it's chairman, Dr. Efe Abolodje and secretary, Dr. Anita Nwajei, and obtained by SaharaReporters, copied the governor of Delta State, Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Secretary to the State Government, Commissioner for Higher Education, Commissioner for Health, Head of Service, Provost, College of Health Sciences, DELSU, Abraka, DTNMA Chairman, MDCAN National President, ARD President and chairman of ASUU, DELSU Abraka.
