MADINAH: Miqat Dhu Al-Hulayfah in Madinah witnessed heavy pilgrim movement on Friday as crowds departed for Makkah and the holy sites to begin their Hajj rituals.
The large-scale movement was supported by a comprehensive operational plan that ensured smooth traffic flow and efficient transportation.
Following Friday prayers, the site experienced a sharp increase in bus arrivals. Through close coordination among authorities, officials managed the influx of pilgrims and vehicles, preventing congestion in parking areas and access roads.
Inside the Miqat mosque, specialized teams were deployed to provide organizational and religious guidance, ensuring smooth crowd management for departing worshippers.
The Madinah branch of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs also deployed multilingual translators as part of its operational plan.
