Speaking before supporters, the U.S. president praised Washington’s operations in Venezuela and suggested that the country’s oil reserves had delivered massive economic gains for the United States.
“How did we do in Venezuela? Not bad,” Trump said, according to Al Jazeera. “We’ve taken out so much oil in Venezuela, we paid for the cost of the war about 25 times over.”
