The Pastor in Charge of Youth Province 1 of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Oluwagbemileke Adeboye, has called on churches to prioritise community impact as a key driver of church growth.

A statement on Friday, signed by Pastor Martins Olusakin, said Adeboye made the call at the RCCG YP1 CSR Summit 2026 held in Lekki, Lagos, where he emphasised that demonstrating the love of Christ through social responsibility remains central to Christianity.

Speaking from Matthew 25:35–36, he said, “For the basis of Christianity, this is how we are meant to push the love of Christ, community impact is a key driver of church growth.”

The summit brought together pastors, ministry leaders, and other stakeholders to explore how churches can engage communities through structured Christian Social Responsibility initiatives.
