Emmanuel Macron Announces an Additional €1 Billion ($1.16B USD) in Funding for France’s Quantum Plan

French President Emmanuel Macron announced an additional funding of €1 Billion ($1.16B USD) for the country’s Quantum Plan. The Quantum Plan was original funded at €1.8 billion for the period 2021-2025 and then supplemented in 2024 by €500 million from a program to support public procurement in the defense sector. This new announcement is in addition to those earlier fundings.
