The road trip is an American institution. While much of the appeal is hopping in the car and stepping on the gas, there’s still plenty of planning that goes into making the most of a road trip. That’s particularly true if you’re traveling by RV.
While there are plenty of map apps that can get you from point A to B, they’re not all ideal for road trips, much less RV trips. Between scenic stops and roadside attractions, the best parts of road trips are rarely right on the major highways. For RV travelers, other considerations include finding campgrounds and routes that are friendly to large vehicles.
One option is Cruise America’s and RoadQuest.ai’s route-planning tool, which was announced earlier this year. The AI-powered search lets travelers generate an end-to-end trip, designed to create optimized routes and simplify planning. The RVTRIP tool also factors in safety and road conditions, generating an RV-friendly map.
