Britney Spears spoke with a British accent during her arrest for driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
Spears also invited officers to her home for lasagne after being pulled over for driving erratically, according to a police report.
In a recording of the arrest captured by California Highway Patrol, the 44-year-old pop star is heard pleading with officers not to arrest her after she was stopped near her home in Ventura County, California.
When she was repeatedly asked by the officers to get out of her car, Spears replied: “I don’t like that”, to which the officer responded: “I don’t care if you don’t like that, I’m giving you an order to step out of your vehicle.”
After one of the officers suggested she get into the police car and drive around the corner to avoid onlookers, Spears responded: “No, I don’t want to get in your car, Sir.
