American skateboarder Jason Vanporppal is edging closer to completing an extraordinary journey across Africa, all in support of a meaningful cause.
The skateboarder has embarked on an ambitious mission to travel from Kampala, Uganda to Cape Town, South Africa, while raising funds to build a skatepark in Uganda.
Now on day 103 of his journey, Vanporppal has already covered more than 6,400 kilometres across seven African countries.
His route began in Kampala, Uganda, in February and has taken him through Rwanda, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana and finally South Africa, where Cape Town marks his final destination.
