A Russian Shahed-136 drone with European microchips, used to support mercenaries in the Sahel, has been shot down in Mali for the first time.

Vladyslav Vlasiuk, President of Ukraine's Commissioner for Sanctions Policy, has reported that rebels in northern Mali shot down a Russian Shahed-136 attack drone used to support Russian-linked mercenaries in the region.

Details: Vlasiuk said this is the first confirmed case of this type of drone being used in the Sahel region.
