A live swingometer tracks exactly how many punters the top comics manage to persuade with their sharp gags and compelling arguments.Joining Ed are comedy heavyweights and team captains Richard Ayoade and Joanne McNally, each accompanied by two guest comics who'll unveil one bonkers opinion apiece. The entire squad hears these opinions for the first time and must then rally behind them, reports the Express. The trio will bring a stellar roster of guest comedians onto the programme, including Maisie Adam, Guz Khan, Joel Dommett, Katherine Ryan, Tom Davis, and Executive Producer Romesh Ranganathan. Before the show launches, fans have been given an early glimpse, and it seems Romesh has stirred up controversy within minutes. The teaser begins with host Ed announcing, "Right, it's time to deep dive into our guests' minds and unearth their most horrific opinion. Joanne, who's stepping up from your team?"The camera panned to Joanne, who announced, "It is King Ram." Ed interjected: "It's Ramesh Ranganathan. In a moment, Ramesh, you'll reveal your opinion, another one. And remember, the audience is already on your side, and we will put it to a vote."Ramesh quipped, "I cannot see this going well." Ed pressed: "OK, Ramesh, if you're ready, please confess your deeply unacceptable opinion."The crowd jeered as Ramesh declared, "My unacceptable opinion is that we should pay the Royals more."A staggering 92% of the audience deemed his view unacceptable. Viewers will need to tune in to hear Ramesh defend his controversial stance.Article continues belowMeanwhile, elsewhere on the programme, Katherine Ryan believes all men should have vasectomies at birth, Ivo Graham attempts to convince everyone that private school kids need State support, and Maisie Adam thinks we should let AI run the world, amongst other eyebrow-raising takes.Unacceptable will air from Sunday, July 5 at 9pm.
