Mamelodi Sundowns Miguel Cardoso has welcomed the public support of legendary former coach Pitso Mosimane following the Brazilians’ CAF Champions League first-leg victory against Moroccan side AS Far Rabat.
Mosimane remains the only coach to guide Sundowns to CAF Champions League glory after leading the club to continental success in 2016, a triumph that elevated the Tshwane giants into Africa’s elite.
With Sundowns once again chasing a second continental star, Cardoso admitted he appreciated the encouragement coming from one of the club’s most influential figures.
“I haven’t had the opportunity to cross paths with him or meet him,” said Cardoso.
