SIRIUS, May 22. /TASS/. Russian grain exports in the current marketing year (July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2026) will total 60 million tonnes, Russian Agriculture Minister Oksana Lut announced at the All-Russian Grain Forum.

"We expect grain supplies to reach 60 million tonnes by the end of the season. To date, we have already supplied approximately 52 million tonnes of grain to foreign markets," Lut said.

The minister noted that the 2025 grain harvest totaled 144.6 million tonnes, up 11% from 2024. "It is a good, solid harvest that allows us to ensure both domestic food security and a significant volume of exports," she stressed.

According to Lut, the 2025 harvest will allow Russia to remain the world's leading wheat exporter this season.

"There was an opinion that we could reach the third-largest export volume in history -- 61.8 million tonnes. This is also possible, depending on liquidity and demand. However, the most critical factor is the current market conditions, which are not very favorable for our market right now," the minister added.
