He denied any offence and had his ban lifted when the independent National Anti Doping Panel ruled an offence was not proven by UK Anti Doping.‌Benn’s biggest moment was the revenge win over a pretty tired Chris Eubank Jnr, who on the second occasion they met was unable to cope with what proved for him a debilitating 160 pounds.You do wonder how much that took out of Benn, too, in respect of coming back down to the 147 welterweight limit.Having let the parameters out in those two Eubank fights Benn didn’t look nearly as destructive a puncher at 147 against Regis Prograis. And Prograis was at his best at super lightweight.‌I make this an even fight, but because of his lack of explosiveness against Prograis some will favour Garcia.It is a lovely blend of styles, the rangy, sharp-punching Garcia looking to unload that trademark left hook, Benn, the hunter, always looking to land the big shot.‌Benn brings family history, heritage, Garcia looks and charisma.
