XiFin Applauds House Ways and Means Committee Advancement of the Main Street Pharmacy Access Act

Healthcare technology leader urges Congress to pass bipartisan legislation securing senior access to pharmacist-delivered clinical services

XiFin, Inc., a leader in AI-driven revenue cycle management solutions and a business partner to more than half of pharmacies across the United States, today expressed strong support for H.R. 3164, the Main Street Pharmacy Access Act, which was advanced by the full House Ways and Means Committee after mark-up. The legislation has earned broad, bipartisan support, with more than 100 Congressional co-sponsors and the support of major healthcare organizations. XiFin joins other advocates in urging Congress to advance the legislation.

The Main Street Pharmacy Access Act ensures that America’s seniors have the same access as other healthcare consumers to essential pharmacist services, including testing and treatment for common respiratory illnesses, such as flu, strep throat, and RSV.

Medicare beneficiaries currently are not eligible for reimbursement for these and other pharmacist-provided clinical services already authorized by state laws. By addressing this gap, the Main Street Pharmacy Access Act would improve access to timely care for seniors and support the financial sustainability of community pharmacies.
