Troops of the 196 Amphibious Battalion under Operation HADIN KAI have arrested a 50-year-old woman, Mrs. Kellu Alhaji Abba, for allegedly acting as a logistics collaborator and supplying critical provisions to her son, a suspected Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorist operating in Borno State.

According to counter-insurgency expert and security analyst, Zagazola Makama, security sources disclosed that Mrs. Abba was apprehended at approximately 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, during a routine security check at the C Company 7 Platoon checkpoint in the Kukawa Local Government Area of the state.
