The Chairman of Benue State Governorship Primary Election Committee, Professor Mohammed Kabiru Isa on Friday declared Governor Hyacinth Alia as the winner of the the governorship primaries.
According to the results annoumced, Alia secured an overwhelming figures to defeat the other two contestants, Terwase Orbunde and Jeffrey Kuranun.
Isa declared that the incumbent governor scored 367,786 votes to defeat the other contestants, Jeffery Kuranun and Terwase Orbunde who polled 2,923 and 3,247 votes respectively.
