In the run-up to this, Tesco stores will be open as normal on Friday, May 22, Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24.‌But on the bank holiday Monday, its hours may be a bit different depending on where you live.‌The supermarket says its opening hours will vary depending on your location, but it has provided a rough guideline.On bank holiday Monday, the majority of large Tesco stores and large Express stores across England and Wales will open from 8am to 6pm.‌In Scotland, most large stores and large Express stores will welcome shoppers from 7am to 10pm, and in Northern Ireland, the majority of large stores and large Express stores will open from 8am to 6pm.There will be no change to opening hours for standard Express stores. Again, the supermarket advises shoppers to check local store opening times on its website.It comes after Tesco announced that it is extending its Aldi Price Match scheme to more than 2,000 Express convenience stores.‌The investment marks the biggest expansion of Tesco’s Aldi Price Match scheme since its launch in May 2020.Some of the everyday essentials that customers will find price-matched to Aldi at Express stores at launch are Tesco Penne Pasta Quills 500g, two-pint bottles of Tesco semi-skimmed milk, and Tesco whole iceberg lettuce.In total more than 200 products will be available on Aldi Price Match in Tesco Express stores, although the range of products stocked will vary.‌The products included will have the distinctive Aldi Price Match logo displayed at the shelf edge, so customers can see which are matched.
