Western University is reinstating partial results of an exam that a professor had previously decided to exclude entirely from final grades over his concerns about widespread cheating.

Students in Jacob Shelley’s undergraduate course in health-care law were told this week that the multiple-choice section of their April assessment would be calculated as part of their overall average despite their professor’s conclusion that the exam had been “compromised.”
