Interior Minister Vladislavas Kondratovičius called an emergency meeting on Friday after technical failures in the LT72 mobile app during a drone threat alert.

In a post on Facebook, the minister said technical overloads caused the app to malfunction during Thursday's alert.Kondratovičius also noted that the application's capacity has already been increased, the issue is being resolved, and system performance continues to be monitored in real time."We must remain calm, focused, and not give in to provocations. Our strength lies in unity, trust in institutions, and the ability to act rationally even in the most difficult circumstances," the minister said.An air threat alert was declared for more than an hour in the Utena district on Thursday after military radars detected two suspected drones. The objects later disappeared from radar screens, and a search is currently underway.A public warning was also issued on Wednesday morning regarding a potential air threat in eastern Lithuania. During that incident, the LT72 app failed, some shelters remained locked, and warning sirens were not activated.
