Perth based smart building materials company ClearVue Technologies has secured international certification for its thermal management junction box, an important step in the continued global deployment of the company’s building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) products.

ClearVue has developed advanced solar façade technology to the point that the company believes it can be a significant contributing factor toward construction of net zero buildings.

The ASX-listed company announced on Tuesday that it had achieved certification from leading global certification body TÜV SÜD for its CPV Thermal Management Junction Box for solar panels.

The certified product, model CV-JB-SGT-001, achieved certification international standard IEC 62790 – the standard that governs junction boxes for photovoltaic modules.

The thermal management junction box is a critical electrical component within ClearVue’s BIPV product assemblies, managing heat experienced by a solar panels’ electronics in the cavity of the façade.
