Chaka Khan, who received a lifetime achievement award from the Recording Academy in February, is set to receive another honor on Friday, June 12, when she is set to be presented with the Vanguard Award at The Connie Orlando Foundation Presents Black Women in Music Dinner. The event, now in its second year, is being held at the Audrey Irmas Pavilion in Los Angeles.
