A major fire has engulfed a two-storey Onehunga property opposite Royal Oak Intermediate School, sending thick smoke into the air and forcing road closures during Friday morning rush hour.
Fire and Emergency New Zealand said crews were called to the “well ablaze” fire on Trafalgar St in Onehunga about 7.20am on Friday.
About 10 appliances were at the scene.
