The ongoing governorship primary election of the All Progressives Congress in Nasarawa State has been characterised by the late arrival of election materials across most electoral wards in the state.
Our correspondent reports that in most of the wards visited in Nasarawa South and Nasarawa West, primary election materials were yet to arrive as of 6 pm.
During a visit to Kokona Local Government Area of the state, our correspondent observed that most eligible voters had returned home due to the absence of voting materials.
At Ciroma Ward, the governorship primary election had yet to commence as of 3pm when our correspondent visited the area. At the Dunoma Primary School centre in Lafia Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, where most residents of the ward were expected to vote, hundreds of party supporters and faithful were seen stranded.
